Not only when with leaders, we catch things while spending time and looking at the lives of friends around as well.

I've this friend who is actually really my best friend.
Looking at Emily's life, I really see and start to understand what it means to not live for ourselves, but the ones around you.
I've heard her say this to me a few times already - "Our lives are not our own".
Each time, it impacts me.

I'm having sore eye, AGAIN!

Rocks, I think my eye is a bit too sensitive or something.
I find myself having sore eye quite a fair number of times. :/

I hate sore eyes.
Not only are they uncomfortable,
they are UGLY! Yuck.
Imagine having to face the world like this.

Anyway, my sore eye made me super groggy.
I broke a bottle of eye bath immediately after I bought it.
I dropped a not-yet-sold bracelet in a shop and the bracelet broke :/
I just didn't feel right. Ugh.

I was kind of, that-a, tired in school today.
Tuesdays have long and boring school timetable :/
Javier, Carmen & I were finding places that-a we can nap during our break.
But unfortunately, we couldn't. :( Everywhere was occupied!

I don't know how to describe how blessed I was from service today.
That's really how good it was.
Maybe I can summarize it in a few words- encountered, thankful, life-changing.

I was really amused when I saw what my dad got for me for dinner! Just for me!

He said I sure can if I didn't eat the fries.

But a confession to make: I told my dad to buy the fries :X

It was a cool dinner. Ate from 11-12plus!

Bad turned good

My day started out pretty bad..
Things didn't turn out as planned; was a struggle here and there.

It turned out better bit by bit through the day, thankfully!

Have been having many cell study groups recently,
and I'm lovin' it! :D
The feeling of working hard together, getting good grades, shining for God.

Today,

Today, is eat-all-you-can day.
Or you can also call it buffet day. Haha.

It started off with National day celebration at school, which pleasantly ended at 9+ am. Yippee, first time school ended so early for me! :)

Afterwhich, I had Kushin Bo (Jap buffet) with Javier, Lucas, Yix. Heh.
One word to describe Kushin Bo- Heaven (L)
But, sorry E :(

Thennnnnnnn, I met up with Em who came over to my house.
For a craved swim. Heh.

And finally, we had steamboat buffet at Fortune Cuisine at Sunset way :D

Ya know,
I love the English language a lot :)

If you didn't know,
my favourite subject is English Literature.

I enjoy Lit, I like reading in between the lines, and going deep into texts.
I like it when I marvel at the figurative and deep meanings of extracts, when I realize them.
It's expressive, subjective, and it's (Y).

JJC is thinking of offering a new H2 subject - ELL (English Language & Linguistics I think :/)
I was so excited when I heard about it kay.
Totally didn't mind taking it up as another Alevel subject.
And when the teacher briefed us about it, the subject's just so interesting!
But too bad... it's not for us, but next year's batch. BAHHHH.

And I think Lit teachers are the smartest!
Science/math teachers etc study FACTS.
Lit teachers basically can analyse texts thrown at them, just so well and cool-ly.
Like, oooooolala. Hehe.

Well, I just wish I love reading newspapers slightly more :X

Today I saw A* really going the extra mile for B*, helping B out with things which she needed help in.

After everything, B, instead of appreciating A, was glad everything was accomplished and was kinda celebrating; not even mentioning A much.

Well, I guess it's the right moment now for me to thank & appreciate some of the really important people in my life.

For always being there. Good times & bad. Sad & happy. Despite our many differences in character, I always feel you're still my bestfriend, and you know me really well. :O I'm just so thankful for a bffy like you. Thank you for putting up, many a times, with my weird temperaments. HAHA. Sian you are just so awesome a friend. Thank you for the very much exciting and great moments :)

2. Javier & Carmen -
Without both of you, I'd die in JJC manxzxz. You guys really help make my time in school more enjoyable and lovely, and memorable. Such lame times we have together, seriously. Haha. Thank you for always being there to help. Both of you are so special ;) Cheers to us, November cuties! HAHA.

Heh! My 2 amazing friends whom I've 'known' since Nanhua days.. Glad to have really known you two better in JC. Both of you rockkkkk :D Love training with you girls, and just hanging out :)

Today was finally the super much awaited City Harvest 20th Anniversary Celebration!

I have been looking forward to it alooooooooooottttttttttttttt. Have been praying and fasting, talking about it, and just getting myself all hyped up for it.

& indeed, I wasn't disappointed!
The thanksgiving and celebration services were so amazing, I was blown awayyy.
By the presence of God, by the sacrifices of the pioneers and most of all Pst K and Sun, by the great performances and fun, by the insight of God's greater plans.

I really enjoyed and loved today! Heh.

& through the whole of today till now, I just feel super glad and thankful to be part of City Harvest - this great congregation and big dear family. City Harvest is indeed my spiritual family. It's a place where I can call home :) I feel so privileged and honoured to be chosen by God to be part of this great work of His. It's just... Amazing. And I'm so thankful!
Ah!

& more than anything, I also felt this in my heart today... That the past 4 years of my walk with God has been an amazing journey. But it's just the beginning! Greater things are to be done. Yes, yes!

CHC changed my life.
Everything of it - The strong teachings of the word of God & spiritual disciplines, the love for people, the practical concern shown towards individuals, the presence of God, the space to make mistakes and learn, the leadership... Everything.

I never had macdonalds for supper 4 times this week.

I never enjoyed past 2 nights of FOP.

I never wish I could make every second of my life count.

I never wanna thank God for His grace and His love in my life.

I never enjoyed N317, and appreciate everyone there

I never enjoyed JJC cause of my class & touch rug

I never felt Minghui was my bestest leader!

I never thought E was my favouritest girlfriend.

I never scripted out my own drama plot and acted it myself before. One person playing all the roles.

I never fell in the swimming pool while walking, unknowingly.

I never had my upstairs neighbour spit saliva from above, which landed on my knee.

I never missed my Nanhua friends.

I never loved fried mars bars + icecream :D

I never ate my own poo as a child, and so my maid said.
